Jumping
Jax Gym is the next generation in sport and fitness! Soccer, Baseball,
Football, Basketball, Frisbee, Volleyball, Hockey, Gymnastics, and Dance will
be taught in a fun energetic class to kid’s pop music hits. This is a great way
for your children to learn critical movements while attending the Alimacani
Extended Day Program!
Extended Day students will participate in Jumping Jax Gym once a month. Jumping Jax Gym will be on campus Mondays, starting 02/04/13. If you have any questions please see the Extended Day Office.
The Story:
Kinesiologist, Scott Sassman, created the Jumping Jax Gym with the intention of incorporating a sports infused gymnastics program with pop music hits to children ranging in age from 2-12 years old! Jumping Jax Gym encourages and promotes motor skills with a fun and energizing circuit. Each student participates at his or her individual level while rotating through a four-station formation. This formation consists of balance beams, incline mats, vaults, mini trampolines, cartwheel mats, and much more! A variety of sports are incorporated into the formation during our classes. All is a go once the teacher hits the play button on the stereo!
