NEW PROCEDURES FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

Due to the pandemic new procedures are being implemented for dropping off in morning Extended Day and picking up in the afternoon program.

If you are registered for morning Extended Day and dropping off between 7:00am and 7:55am:

Please drive through the car rider's lane at the back of the school to the double doors. A mask and/or face shield and temperature check are both required before your child can enter the building. Children will be required to wear a mask and/or face shield and use social distancing inside the multipurpose room. Children can bring a book, coloring supplies and/or drawing materials. Games, cards and toys are not permitted. Your patience with the new procedure is appreciated.

If your child is registered in afternoon Extended Day:

Please drive through the car rider's lane at the back of the school to the double doors after 3:15pm and before 6:00pm. A staff member will greet you with a QR Code. Please have your ID ready and take a picture of the code using your smartphone camera. After answering the three questions and showing confirmation your child will be called to go home. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through these unprecedented times.

MORE INFORMATION TO SHARE ABOUT REGISTRATION

1. When the site goes live, complete the online registration form (completing the form does not guarantee a spot).
2. Extended Day is for working parents with children enrolled in the school building.
3. The County will send the completed applications to the Extended Day Directors to set up classes.
4. You will be notified if you have a spot or are on the waiting list.
5. Payments all year will be made online.
6. No parents will be allowed in the building and the pickup procedure will be explained as we get closer to the start of school.
7. Children will be required to wear a mask.

DCPS WILL BE SENDING OUT A ROBO CALL WITH EXTENDED DAY REGISTRATION INFORMATION. REGISTRATION WILL BE ONLINE THROUGH THE COUNTY AND NOT AT INDIVIDAUL SCHOOL SITES.

GOVERNOR DESANTIS AND SUPERINTENDENT GREENE HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT DUVAL HOMEROOM WILL RUN TO THE END OF THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR.
